Regarding Specific Notorious Monsters

Regarding Specific Notorious Monsters

The past two weeks have seen considerable feedback from players regarding the amount of time required to combat the Pandemonium Warden, a recently implemented Notorious Monster (NM). Discussion has spread significantly throughout forums, and it has become apparent that this is indeed an issue of major unrest in the community.

We would like to assure players that the development and management teams place a high value on their feedback, and the issue has since been taken under serious consideration. Together with Absolute Virtue, it has been deemed that the combative techniques for weakening these NMs are too difficult. As a result, some players have engaged these enemies using unanticipated methods which led to extended battle times. It is by no means the desire of the development team to see players involved in encounters that require an excessive amount of time and effort to complete. It was for this reason that previous measures were put into practice which prohibited NMs from being held in battle for prolonged periods. In response to these events, we have determined that further alterations are required to prevent such battles from exceeding a certain predetermined length of time.

Included in the version update scheduled for early September will be modifications to the degree of difficulty of Pandemonium Warden (and associated pets), Absolute Virtue (and associated pets), and Jailer of Love. The aim of these changes is to create battles where a decisive outcome may be reached within a shorter period of time.

The development and management teams would like to take this opportunity to express their commitment to a healthy and wholesome game environment for players everywhere to enjoy, and to thank them for the continued feedback.

Dynamis and Limbus Get a Makeover! (08/04/2008)
Xeynaar, Aug 4, 08 5:19 AM

The September version update just keeps getting bigger and better! We would like to take this opportunity to announce our intentions to implement some all-new features to both Dynamis and Limbus, as well as a few adjustments brought in by popular demand!

Blue mage / Corsair / Puppetmaster Artifacts and Relics

The wait is finally over!
At long last, the highly anticipated relic gear sets of the blue mage, corsair, and puppetmaster jobs are here! Rounding out the standard 5-piece sets, the more recently added back and waist items will also be added to September's version update. Players with these jobs can now look forward to obtaining the ingredient items required to temper their artifact and relic gear with even greater enhancements!
When considering how to best introduce this equipment, the development team weighed many options, including the possibility of entirely original methods. In the end, however, the decision was made that such means would be largely unfair by rendering only players with these jobs capable of accessing new game content. Therefore, all of the above items will be procured in the same way as their predecessors, namely via exploits in the Dynamis and Limbus areas.

Drop Rates

Great care has been put into assuring that current drop rates will see no negative impact from the introduction of the new blue mage, corsair, and puppetmaster gear sets. Players can rest easy knowing that any and all necessary adjustments to the drop rate ratios have been considered and implemented to maintain a fair and balanced game experience.
Furthermore, the overall drop rates of select Dynamis areas, covering the relic gear of all jobs old and new, are set to be raised as well.

Entry Fees

In light of the additions and adjustments detailed above, the entry fees for both Dynamis and Limbus were also brought under careful reconsideration.
Thanks in part to the ground being made by the Special Task Force in combating RMT-related activities, and subsequent normalization of the game economy, the following reduction in price to entry items will be implemented in the upcoming September version update.

Timeless Hourglass: 1,000,000 gil -> 500,000 gil
Cosmo-Cleanse: 30,000 gil -> 15,000 gil

Back to our roots
Xeynaar, Jul 22, 08 5:25 AM
As of July 2008 we are dropping our (competitive) endgame activities and are back to 100% focusing to our core - social part. Yes, Guts is again a Social LS.

In the past years of endgame, we had our ups and downs, our fun and bitter tastes. All in all, it was entartaining part of the linkshell's life and we all will treasure it.

Now, as a social LS, we are once again opening a requirements-free applications. If you are interested into joining us, post an aplication or look for a sackholder online. It's open to everyone regardless of level, job or newbness (not to be confused with noobness). :)

Yup, after a marathom with Jailer of Love that was our only reward.  We did finally see AV pop though.

Thankfully we did see quite a few other drops over the last few weeks for the LS.
We didn't do a whole lot of jailers.  Focusing instead on Ix Aerns and Ultima/Omega.

The aerns were generous with the capes this time around. Congrats to Jerobi on Altruistic Cape and Psychodwarf on the LS's 1st Astute Cape.   The jailers we DID take out still refused to drop their torques.  Except for Prudence.  Congrats to Fogoazul on the LS's 1st Prudence Torque.

Our main focus was trying to snag some gear we haven't seen for a while from sky.
Kirin was not having any of it.  He refused to drop W. Legs yet again ~.~
He was generous with N. Bodies, Poles, and Osodes though.
